ADVENT BRUNCH - December 6, 2025
Living in the Hope, Peace, & Joy of Advent
Magnificat-Omaha invites all women to our Advent Brunch with
guest speaker Fr. Michael Voithofer.
Fr. Voithofer is a priest in the Archdiocese of Omaha and the spiritual advisor for our Magnificat-Omaha Chapter. He is the Director of the Ablaze House of Prayer with Eucharistic Revival Worship Nights and the Omaha Encounter School.
Fr. Michael will share his earliest experiences of God’s Presence, starting with a small altar in his family home, to a high school knee injury that led to his hospitalization and full awareness of God’s love and Mary’s gentle care. A deeper encounter with the Holy Spirit during a Life in the Spirit Seminar while attending Penn State University to study Architectural Engineering, led him to know the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and hear a call to the priesthood.
Fr. Michael will teach us how to set our Advent Journey afire with God’s love and heavenly joy. He says our lives can become the incense, and our hearts the flame. May the fire Jesus came to cast on the earth blaze ever more brightly through us, especially during this Holy Season!
Advent Brunch: Saturday, December 6, 2025, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Reservations are required and will close when filled.

Magnificat-Omaha, NE has been approved by Archbishop George Lucas as an official organization for women's evangelization in the Archdiocese of Omaha. We have been hosting Brunches for over six years and are a chapter in the Magnificat Ministry International.
The International Organization was the inspiration of the late Bishop Stanley J. Ott with the encouragement of the late Archbishop Philip Hannan of New Orleans. The first function, a prayer breakfast, took place on October 7, 1981.
Now, there are over 80 MAGNIFICAT Chapters in the world. MAGNIFICAT ministers to those women whose faith in the person of Jesus Christ has allowed them to believe in the activity of God’s Spirit in their lives. It also has great appeal to those women who may be struggling with faith or who have lost touch with the Church. It is a valuable evangelistic tool.

“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior…The mighty ONE has done great things for me, Holy is His name.” Luke 1:46-49
In these words of the Magnificat, Mary proclaimed to Elizabeth her gratitude for the wonderful action of God in her life. Please join us at a brunch for all women where we too will share together in that same spirit of gratitude and praise of God. After the meal, there will be a time of prayer for the needs of all present and an opportunity to hear Kitty share her personal encounter with Jesus the Messiah and her Advent music. You will be inspired by Kitty's beautiful message in word and song. Please plan to come and bring a friend to rejoice in the presence of the Lord.
Parish Mass starts at 8:30.
